Goodwill Outlets In Pennsylvania

  • Last Updated on

There are a total of 7 Goodwill Outlets, or Goodwill Bins, spread across Pennsylvania.

When it comes to these locations, some are notorious for their intense shopping atmosphere, living up to the hype of competitive Goodwill Outlet tales. However, not all spots fit this description—some provide a more relaxed environment where treasure hunters and resellers can browse without the frenzy. If you prefer a peaceful shopping experience and want to avoid the cutthroat competition, keep an eye out for the Goodwill Outlet locations below that offer a more laid-back vibe.

Here’s a tip for those seeking a leisurely shopping trip: Arrive a few hours after opening at the Goodwill Bins. This timing often coincides with the rotation of large blue bins filled with merchandise throughout the day.

Now, if you’re new to Goodwill Outlets, here’s the scoop. Everything is thrown into large plastic blue bins, unsorted and waiting to be explored—clothes, toys, electronics, and more. At checkout, you pay by the pound, making it an affordable way to discover hidden treasures.

Ready to embrace the thrill of the hunt and join the ranks of competitive Goodwill Outlet shoppers? Here’s what we suggest.

With an increasing number of resellers and vintage collectors in the mix, it pays to arrive early armed with gloves and a roomy shopping bag. The competition for Goodwill carts can be fierce and shoving is par for the course, depending on the outlet. Remember, some shoppers make a living from this hustle—it’s all part of the game.

Didn’t strike gold on your maiden voyage? Keep in mind that fresh bins brimming with new treasures arrive daily. Stay persistent, keep refining your thrifting skills, and before long, you’ll be unearthing gems like a seasoned pro. Best of luck on your next treasure hunt!

I cannot stress how great this place is. Great merchandise, decent amount of high end designer pieces, many items with original tags, polite employees and really great regular customers. It's pretty rare to see aggressive behavior here. I want to address the negative comments people made...some were simply not true. The others clearly just don't "get it". How do you think they can offer the merchandise for $1.29 a lb? You want racks, things catagorized, full service, etc? Then be prepared to absorb those costs by paying higher prices. Nothing is free people (unless you're goodwill itself of course. lol). To the manager, your responses are articulate and impressively tempered. Keep up the good work my friend.

The workers here are absolutely amazing. The first time I went, someone explained to me how it worked, and every time after that the workers have been nothing but nice. The customers on the other hand? Absolutely awful. This place draws a very specific crowd, mostly resellers, who are very rude. They’ll leave their carts in the middle of the aisle, steal all the carts even though everyone is only supposed to use one, and congregate around new bins so much so that the workers sometimes can’t even get them out.I love the finds I’ve gotten here, and love how awesome all the workers are, and most of the customers really need to realize just how hard they work.

This store has really gone downhill. They used to utilize both doors (one in the front with limited parking and one in the back next to the big parking lot) but now you have to walk around the building if you park in the bigger lot, which is okay if you're younger but I feel bad for elderly or people with disabilities. The inside is dirty and disorganized and stuff is just thrown in bins so most things are broken or scattered. I used to come here all the time but will not be back

I selfishly don't want to rank these thrift gems too high, lest they become main stream and over-crowded.This is a pay-by-the-pound Goodwill Outlet which is basically a free-for-all grabfest in a sea of giant blue bins teeming with Goodwill store leftovers or "can't sell" items. Lots and lots and lots of junk, but if you're savvy and patient, you can dig up some treasures. Definitely not for your run-of-the-mill thrift browser who is used to organized merchandise with price tags. It's a shitshow adventure!

The store is set up with giant blue bins that are full of shoes and clothes and a variety of other stuff. You have to spend time and dig for things, but I found a lot of name brand items. If you have the time and aren't picky then you can find some decent clothes. Is recommended checking it out at least once. Also they charge by the weight of clothes. $1.29 per pound of clothing.

This was my first visit to this Goodwill. My wife and I walked in the door and just stopped to take it all in. The building was large. There was rows of blue bins about 4' x 8' x 1-1/2' deep everywhere. They were on carts at waist level and filled to the top. People with masks and gloves were digging for treasures. My wife and I came out of our fog and started digging in, too. I found a pink flamingo by Don Featherstone. I knew better than to put it down. When we checked out, they charged by the pound. My purchase cost 66 cents. It was fun. We will get back there soon when we have more time.

So much stuff to dig through.. pricing is very reasonable although I was hoping that it would be the same as Oregon where if you bought less than 25 lbs it would be one price and if you bought over 25 lbs it would be a lower price...1.49 a pound isn't bad tho..I did buy A LOT! The staff is very friendly..the only thing I didn't like is the parking lot right in front of the store was extremely dirty..trash everywhere as if no one ever sweeps out there...makes for a bad first impression of the store itself. I will definitely shop again in the future as I have a clothing addiction and this is the cheapest way to satisfy that addiction

Not a handicap funny place. Goodwill closed the more accessible location!!!!! And I'm not surprised to see that another reviewer had the same issues I did with rude customers blocking handicap van by illegally parking next to it, only a young child could have gotten between the vehicles. And they lost a star because there was an employee in the parking lot talking to the woman and he said nothing to her about the way she parked or ask her to move so we could get into our vehicle. Employees did not seem nice and funny either

I am continually frustrated when I enter the store and there are no carts available. There are usually no carts outside either. There are customers who fill a cart and set it at the front of the store and go fill another cart. Staff has said they are not allowed to do this but no one stops them. The one woman manager will make an announcement and help you get a cart.

The first think I wanna say is how awesome the 2 upfront workers at the cashier are. They are literally the most pleasant, kind and patient people even when customers are rude or not listening. This outlet center is one of the smaller ones but they keep ot pretty clean. There is a bathroom. No vending machines so bring snacks because you could stay all day as they flip the bins pretty often. I do highly enjoy this place!

Goodwill is not like it used to BE , All i know this is donated stuff from people to help the poor or low income people or people that want to save money because its not worth going to a store to buy crazy priced on NAME BRAND things or NON name brand it's outrageous. See i shop in Goodwills everywhere. But some of these stores are out of hand selling stuff like it is brand new & somethings that are not worth buying because there are damaged. Listen i donate to people that is in need then me donating stuff for people can charge for that i make a garage sale to help me pay my bills lol js. These owners of these stores better off making a better business if they wanna make money but goodwills wasn't like this back then. that are not or should not be sold for so much. But things are going up like rent food clothes electric ect ect i get it but this business is not to over price things its in some goodwills.

There aren’t really signs to point you where to go. See attached photo for the entrance.Didn’t see much furniture. It’s mostly bins of clothing. I’ve been to locations in other states where clothing was by the pound, furniture was priced individually, and dish ware and books were x for $x. At this location, everything is $1.89/lb.

This is the perfect store for casual Goodwill shoppers and the hardcore pickers. Half of the store has big bins that are wheeled out with unsorted items. You have to pick through and items are sold by weight. Some people love that (like my son) and have the patience and reap the rewards.

Depending on the time of day you go, this Goodwill can be a lot of fun. Don't make the mistake of going right when they open. There's a line of crazy people outside waiting to stampede in through the doors (only three are allowed in at a time). People are so careless and thoughtless while "digging for their treasures." You can be a foot away from them, and they will throw what they've determined to be worthless right at you in the bin you're looking through. The store itself is fantastic, it's just the people that shop that who ruin the experience. And for the love of God, watch out when they bring out new bins; you will get destroyed, as people act like whatever they're bringing out is a once in a lifetime opportunity and there could be millions of dollars hidden inside!

Very corrupt. The regular shoppers sell stuff to each other before it leaves the store. This is illegal. You cannot sell the store’s inventory but the workers turn a blind eye. A man who wears a hat who people were yelling “Joel” speaking Spanish was selling a bunch of shirts to some kids. Not right or ethical. I used to stop goodwills back in the day and it wasn’t this way and they no longer support disabled people when they allow this. Check your cameras and stop allowing theft and bad shoppers in your store

So sad to watch this store going downhill. Just a few years ago it used to be a fun, safe, well managed and well organised place with a large selection of everything from cloths to to household items. Never a problem to get a parking spot or a shopping cart. Not anymore. A bunch of loud, obnoxious, rude and ignorant people act as if they own this place and the whole world. They ram thru the bins scooping everything at sight piling high into the carts. And then start tossing unwanted cloths and shoes back to the bins without even looking who is on the way. Each of them grabs at least two shopping carts using them to block your way to the newly arrived bins. But if you are lucky to get the "front row" spot be prepared to act swift and grip tight otherwise whatever you picked, might be pulled literally out of your hands.Needless to say the assortment of goods offered also deteriorated. Cloths, books and toys still OK but over the 80% of shoes and wares is a pure junk. Mismatched shoes, ripped and gutted purses, broken pieces of an undetermined origin and all this jazz. Maybe someone just weeding all the decent stuff out of the bins before putting them on the floor. I do realize it is an outlet and you get what you paid for. However five, three and even one year ago it was still an outlet and it was an absolutely different story. I won't be returning back even if I find a parking spot and get a shopping cart.

Warning: if you’re coming here for a fun thrifting trip, reconsiderGoodwill is supposed to be an affordable way to find clothes and goods. Unfortunately this goodwill does not support that mission. The workers help the women who scoop all of the items into their carts by giving them…. More carts? Regular shoppers have no access to carts as the regulars are catered to. Cashiers even give them bins to scoop during inventory rotations.Old man with glasses and gloves who wheels out furniture gives dibs on items to certain shoppers. He often calls regular shoppers over to give them specific items. It makes you wonder why this place is catering to certain shoppers and the everyday people who come are left high and dry. No carts. They’re never given special access to items. There’s also an odd cashier with green hair who makes people line up against the wall like it’s the military.Overall, skip this place is you’re looking for a fun carefree thrifting trip. Everything good is taken by the greedy or saved by the workers for the friends they have wjo shop here.

This bins is one of the more comfortable bins I’ve ever been too, it is pretty laid back not as many people hawking for stuff. That said- the other comment on lack of high end stuff is true, but I have found some really cute pieces that I wear constantly. The turn over of bins is much lower key too, now in Covid they only change bins once during the day. I also like that there is a store and a bins side by side so you have the choice of your experience. I often make the total rounds of both stores.

Some excellent vintage finds, not great for designer, some decent mid-tier brands. Not a large outlet, but clean and well run. The bins turn over fairly regularly, but only a few at a time. Definitely worth a visit for some fun vintage pieces but if you’re looking for high-end stuff this is not the place. I spent a few hours and picked up some great 80s and 90s sweaters, denim, T-shirts, blouses, and a few more recent pieces of outerwear. For newer styles in good condition it’s all Old Navy, target, American Eagle, etc. Some mid-tier but more older styles, poorer condition and more picked over.

This Goodwill store offers clean items that are fairly priced and restroom facilities that are immaculate. Plan on spending some time here because of the size of the store and quantity of product. Additionally, this location houses an outlet in which items are charged by the pound and appears to be a favorite way to shop for many thrifters and resellers. Digging through these large bins of miscellaneous items and clothing, looking for that special something, can be a lot of fun. This is a very nice Goodwill store and Victoria, at checkout, is fabulous.

Last time I came here was about 2 years ago so its not an updated review but I thought this was a nice outlet compared to some i've been to (looking at you New Castle, DE). I would definitely go back. One thing i remember is that you needed to bring your own bags. I would recommend wearing gloves because unfortunately soiled underwear can end up in the bins.

The bins have items just thrown in there. It is difficult to look through and so many things are broken. Im not sure why they can't put things on shelves and organize it like all other Goodwills I have been to. Just seems lazy and like they don't care. Furniture was fairly priced.

The Outlet side had large bins full of clothing, books, toys, glassware, & accessories. Books were priced super cheap ($.25 - $.50). Glassware was something like $.25/pound. Everything else started at $1.54/pound - the price per pound goes down a little after 20 pounds. You definitely need time to go through the bins, but there are lots of bargains to be had. The Store side was clean and organized. The employees were friendly. Lots of Halloween and Christmas items. If you're in the area, its worth a visit.
